Dr. Ricardo Mejia

Dr. Mejia earned a B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. Dr. Mejia then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He completed his Dermatology residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he was Chief Resident. During this time, Dr. Mejia received specialty training in Lasers and Mohs surgery.

He also trained with one of the leading vein surgeons in sclerotherapy and ambulatory phlebectomy. Dr. Mejia is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Phlebology and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. Although he performs a variety of procedures, Dr. Mejia’s emphasis is on skin cancer surgery, laser surgery, vein treatment and hair transplantation. He has additional training in chemical peels, collagen and Botox treatments. He is Board Certified in Dermatology. He is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Italian and French.

 

Sarah Martin PA-C

Sarah B. Martin is a certified Physician Assistant, specializing in Dermatology. She obtained her Master’s of Medical Science at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale; FL. Sarah graduated from the University of Virginia with her Bachelor’s in Arts and Science, majoring in Psychology with a minor in American Politics. She is an affiliate of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Sarah is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric dermatology disorders. She is certified and trained to perform both cosmetic and medical laser procedures. Sarah is trained to administer Botox Cosmetics and facial fillers.
